Practical information about the Premium Favela Tour
Your experience includes a delicious traditional Brazilian lunch at a local restaurant inside the favela, allowing you to enjoy authentic flavors while supporting the local community.
For an even more memorable experience, we also provide professional drone footage of your visit, giving you incredible aerial memories of Rocinha and the surrounding landscapes.
Your guide will meet you at the designated meeting point in São Conrado. From there, you will head to the top of Rocinha either by motorcycle taxi for a truly local experience or by private car, depending on your preference.

Once at the top, the tour continues mostly downhill on foot, allowing you to comfortably explore the community’s narrow streets, local businesses, viewpoints, and cultural highlights. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a bottle of water. Rocinha features uneven streets, stairways, and active local traffic, including the famous motorcycle taxis that are an essential part of daily life for residents.
